Welcome to the September PALS HOP! This month, we're featuring Fall/Halloween themed projects for your inspiration! I'm stop number 3 on the PALS HOP and I'm glad you hopped in! I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for papercrafted creations from the Stampin' Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the PALS HOP LINE-UP below and you'll be back on track!
Inspired by Stampin’ Tips:
- I wish I could say I came up with this spooky coffin but I didn’t. :( I found it on Martha Stewart.com. To download the template, click here.
- My biggest tip for today is to use the proper adhesive. Stampin’ Up! offers great adhesive for 3D projects like this and I highly recommend it! :)
- The new Spider Web Embossing folder came in handy for the top of my coffin. I zipped it through the big shot and then cut it to size from my template.
- To give the coffin a dusty effect, I daubed Whisper White Craft Ink around the sides and top of it.
- I then added these amazing Black Flourish Designer Jewels to the top for a little sparkle.
- My “Fright Night” Stamp is a single stamp found in the Holiday Mini and great for Halloween.
- My touch of glam is this great Basic Black 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon. Now I just have to buy some Halloween candy for it! Haha!
Inspired by Stampin’ Tips:
- My wonderful big shot came in handy today. And I love the embossing folders that you can use with them. Today I used the Square Lattice.
- Two great and coordinating punches were used for my Spooking Midnight Raven which are 2-1/2'” Circle Punch and 2-3/8” Scallop Circle Punch.
- I added jewels all around my scallop circle punch and then sponged the edges using Basic Black.
- I used a Satin Whisper White Ribbon but decided it was too bright and beautiful. So I also sponged it with Black Ink to make it dusty and dirty. :)
