Hello crafty friends. It’s Monday morning here and my craft room is still a disaster. So today I thought I would check in with you and share some photos of what’s been happening here around the construction zone.
Here is the photo of my craft room with tarps laid all over everything to protect it from the drywall dust. I am going to paint the yucky green wall a soft blue today or tomorrow. It will be nice to get rid of the color and have something a little brighter. Last week while moving my glass craft desk, the glass exploded into a million little pieces. :( And so now I am in the search of a new crafty desk. I may use the dining room table in the picture until I find something. It used to be my Nana’s.
A photo of the new carport. It has rained for the last two weeks and it has been the best thing that we have added to the house. The painters are coming this week to paint and then the electrician will install some lights.
At the moment while writing this, the concrete is being poured under the carport. I will take a photo to share on FB when it is finished! Yay!
Here’s the view from under the carport.
Here’s my new kitchen! yay :) It is almost finished. My range hood needs attached and the bulkheads painted. But we are so close to being done!
We purchased glass panels around the deck and they were installed last week. This is the view this morning while writing my post. :)
Although, I didn’t take this photo, this is the snake that is sunning itself in my backyard at the moment. It looks just like this. It’s a carpet snake so not poisonous and eats all the rodents around the house. Not too excited though about the latest pet in the yard. Haha.
I hope that you have enjoyed a glimpse of my life this past week. I will share all the other goodies over the next few months. I’ve designed ten new sets and lots of other exciting things are coming for IBS. It has been a great week!
Take Care and Thank you for visiting.
Oh, heavens, that snake just threw me off! I was 'oohing and aahing' over your house projects, though, till I saw this guy! At least he's not poisonous! Your kitchen looks very big, Joanna. :) Beautiful, too!

Thanks Col! I know the snake is actually bigger then this photo. It's the biggest snake I've seen since living here. I appreciate your comments. :) Joanna

Things are looking up for you, it sounds like. The desk is a bummer but a new one is exciting! The last few weeks of a project are the hardest. By that time, "complete" & "finished" sound like just a dream. Your kitchen looks amazing! The light at the end of the tunnel is growing. Stay strong. You have accomplished soooo much, designing new stamps under such difficult conditions. We are excited for you & can't wait to see the end results!

Joanna, I can so relate to your photos! LOVE the glass panels and that AMAZING view! BTW are you sure that snake isn't poisonous? It looks like it has a triangular head and that means venom. Look closely at the photo. Maybe it's just a bad angle???? THX for sharing the pics! It will be so worth it when it's done!
