Sneak Peek of the New Vintage Frames Stamp Set

Hello blog friends! Today, I have one more sneak peek of the new Vintage Frames 4x4 Stamp Set that will be available on October 1st at the Inspired by Stamping Store!

Before we get to the peeks, there are only 2 more days left before the Super September Sale at Inspired by Stamping ends! Stock up on all your favorite stamps, ribbons, tapes and embellishments. Sale ends September 30th at midnight!

Here is the new Shabby Vintage Frames Stamp Set! This set will come with two vintage frames. Each frame will fit in a Spellbinders rectangle die perfectly for easy cutting. This set also has three new lovely sentiments that will fit inside each frame.

Here is a close up of the frame! I stamped it in brown Memento ink. I then cut it using a Spellbinder rectangle die. To follow the curve of the top of the frame, I used a corner punch to round the top corners before distressing the edges.

I added the Scallop Border Crochet Trim and Cream Crochet Lace for some shabbiness. I then made a bow using some Pink Satin ribbon and added an Off White Flower from IBS.

I went all out again with shabbiness on my second card too using the NEW Vintage Frames stamp set! I stamped my frame in Light Pink ink and used Distress ink for my sentiment.

I again cut the frame using a Spellbinder Die and distressed the edges the same as the first card.

Lots of Inspired by Stamping flowers were used for my bouquet and some new White Seam Binding ribbon that will be available in a few weeks! I also used some gorgeous Vintage Crochet Trim along the border.

Happy Friday Sweet Friends! I originally made this card for my IBSIC card yesterday but just felt there was something missing?! What do you think? Would you classify this as a CAS card? I will let you decide…

I am off to have lunch with my hubby today! It is so wonderful to have him home and get caught up! We tried to have a date last week but that didn’t happen because we were so sick. So I am super duper excited to spend some time with him.

I used the All Year Wishes I stamp set for my “Hello” sentiment. Victorian Crochet Trim and Rosewood Satin Ribbon were added for some glam. I placed an extra large rhinestone on top of my bow.

Elegant Flowers were stamped in Rose Red ink, heat dried and then colored with Copic Markers. I then lifted them with a few little dimensionals of varying sizes.

Tip: Heat drying the ink helps stop smudging when coloring with your Copic Markers.

IBSIC #23 ~ Inspiration Photo and Blog Candy!

Hello sweet friends! How are you on this gorgeous Thursday?! Spring is in the air here today with beautiful temperatures, lovely sea breezes and birds are singing! I love this weather and it is so wonderful to feel warm weather again.

This week we are to use the colors sage, pink and creams.

• Fancy Labels 18 and Small Fancy Labels 3 were used to create my sentiment and background label.

• I used some Colonial Rose Satin Ribbon and folded it. I then cut little V’s in the edges.

• Some Princess Crochet Trim was used along the border which I stitched onto my floral card stock.

• Three IBS flowers were used for some yummy glam.

This month we are featuring all the sets on each day. So my first CAS card uses the Mason Jar Add On II! I love this set with its sweet sentiments and labels.

I used Pink Gingham and Pink Floral Washi Tape. I love this close up of how beautiful the two colors coordinate together. I also used a smaller strip of Crochet Fabric Tape.

I used some Melissa Frances polka dot paper and a Spellbinder Lacey Square Die for my center. I then cut out my label and lifted it using some dimensionals. A pink and 2 light yellow flowers were added to the corner for some extra glam.

My second card features the new Mason Jar stamp set and Mason Jar Add On II.

I gently colored my Mason Jar using Copic Markers. Crochet Fabric Tape takes center stage again with some glam on my Mason jar with some IBS flowers .

“With Love” sentiment is from the NEW Mason Jar Add On II! I then added a strip of Red Polka Dot Washi Tape and a strip of Crochet Fabric Tape. A gorgeous White Seam Binding bow was added with a blue button and a rhinestone.

My last project today was one that I shared yesterday on the video featuring the Spice Jar Stamp Set we are releasing on Friday. It’s one of my favorites and I am redoing my spice jar with these sweet labels.

This set fits perfect in a Spellbinders Labels 18 die. I dressed it up using some of the Red Gingham Washi Tape.

Washi Tape ~ Simple Saturdays

Washi Tape has been all the rage for the last few months. Last week, I received some in the mail from a sweet friend and I just can’t stop using it! wow! is all I can say! It is fantastic stuff. I just didn’t know all the things you can do with it either. Here are a few photos that I saw on-line that amazed me!

We will definitely be decorating some eggs next Easter with Washi Tape. :)

Here is some of the Washi Tape that I received. Love it! I bet you know what I am doing behind the scenes! :) I think this was the quickest card I have ever made.

And my second simple card that took a matter of two minutes. I think Simple Saturday cards have taken on a new meaning. LOL!

IBSIC #19 and some shares :-)

Hello sweet crafty friends! How are you? Without a craft room still, I have spent the majority of this week on the computer designing. It has been so fun and I am super duper excited to share with you in the next few months.

Brad and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday. We had a couple of sick kids but managed to have a beautiful day regardless. I got a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, 3 single roses from my kids, a card and a seafood dinner. It was just perfect. And this little lady is smiling from ear to ear today.

Today, the builder informed me that my craft room/office won’t be ready until later next week. It has been the longest time not creating in over 3 years. He must of thought I was crazy when I just started to bring boxes and boxes of my crafty things into the house. LOL! So today, I transformed my dining room table into the new craft room for the next week. We will just have to eat outside on the outdoor table until I can move back in. :) Here’s a photo…

Here is my card that I made sitting at the dining room table. ;)

I really enjoyed making today’s card with lots of little details. It was one of the moments where I truly felt back in my zone. Oh what a happy feeling. :) Do you get like that too when you create?

I used the NEW Heartfelt Greetings and the Butterfly Wings set. I stitched all along the edges of my card. I flipped my scallop square and made it into a triangle for something a little different. I’m sampling ribbon this week and this is some satin peach ribbon. What do you think? Instead of crochet trim as a border, I placed 4 light blue flowers from the Inspired by Stamping store.

It was great to share a card with you today! I look forward to hearing from you. It always brightens my day. :) I have started working on another card and probably will sit at my craft table all day long catching up on cards. It is wonderful to be creating again.

Hello friends! Welcome! This morning before we packed up the remaining last things in the house, I had a chance to create one more time before packing up my crafty things. It was wonderful to sit amongst all my stuff even though I am still in the man shed.    My next spot to create will be in our new home! YAY!

A few of you have asked for supplies on the last few cards that I have created. Today, I will put them up. I am sorry for the delay with this and I so appreciate your understanding.

All orders will go out tomorrow. I will be at my in-laws all day getting caught up with work. Plus, did you know that sneak peeks start on Sunday!!!! There are 8 new sets to show you. Whoo Hoo!! You will LOVE these new sets! They are my absolute favorites. 

Small Fancy Labels 3 was perfect for stamping my center image. My sentiment from the Small Fancy Labels 4 set fits perfectly inside my frame.  I then used the Spellbinders die to cut my French border. To dress up my card, I used 2 Off White Flowers and 1 bright pink flower from the IBS Store.

A Happy Anniversary Card…

Today’s inspiration comes from the Shabby Tea Room and Mojo Monday sketch. I love the colors with this weeks TSTR but have no weddings in the near future so decided to make a pretty anniversary card.

All Year Wishes II and Beautiful Ovals were used for my card today. I paired them up with the lovely Authentique 6x6 Bundle paper with rhinestones, pearls and a beautiful pink rose. I will be selling these gorgeous flowers on the website soon!!

Vintage Best Wishes

My favorite style of all time is vintage and shabby chic. I think I love designing my cards like this because my hubby would never allow pinks, lace and pearls in his house. So here on my blog, I am able to create all the girlie girl designs to my hearts content. Plus, I have always believed I was born in the wrong century. I love everything old, vintage and LOVE history. I am currently reading a book about Mona Lisa at the moment. Anything with history and I am hooked!

Today’s card has lots of stitching. I love the added effect to cards. I always have my sewing machine handy at all times for occasions as today’s. I focused on the All Year Wishes I stamp set and used the frame and sentiment from this set. I gently cut the frame out and then paired it up with the Spellbinder Labels 10 die. I love the look of the two paired together!
